This week, we created a collaborative art display, showing the 'Reach Out' initiative. We spoke about all the ways we can help stop bullying.
During the run up to Christmas, Mrs De Nieffe's class have starred as the Wise Men and the Shepherds in the Fortuna Nativity!
We were all very good this year and even got to meet Santa himself! We loved learning all about the magic of the North Pole and we had lots of questions for Santa.
Chinese New Year
For our Chinese New Year celebrations in class, we have done a taste test of different snacks and drinks from China. We then used our persuasive language techniques to convince others why our favourite should win.
We have made our our Chinese drums, painting them red as this is a lucky colour in Chinese culture. We can't wait for the Year of The Rabbit.
We were very lucky to have a Chinese New Year lunch in our classroom, it was delicious!
On the 3rd February, We celebrated NSPCC Numbers Day and set ourselves the challenge to answer 10,000 Maths questions correctly.
At the end of the school day, we added together our totals and the whole school managed to exceed our target and hit a total of 18,061
