Maths
Summer Term:
Arithmetic: We will be continuing to practice our counting, we will be moving on to counting beyond 30. We will be looking at number bonds to 5 and 10 and making sure that we can automatically recall them.
We will continue to practice our adding and subtraction and start exploring what it means if something is greater than and less than.
Measure: We will be exploring sequencing of events and important times and looking at how we can measure time. We will be comparing lengths and weight and looking at how to measure these.
We will be introducing money and looking at what the coins and counting in 1ps.
Geometry: We will continue to look at 2D and 3D shapes as well looking at repeated patterns.
Spring Term:
Arithmetic: We will be continuing to practice our counting, we will be moving on to counting beyond 20. We will be looking at number bonds to 5 and 10.
Measure: We will be exploring sequencing of events and important times.
Autumn Term:
Arithmetic: We looked at counting to 20, recognising numbers and representing them in objects. one more and one less and began looking at 2 groups of objects.
Measure: Looked at comparing different sizes and talking about the order.
Geometry: We looked at 2D shapes and 3D shapes.
