This term we will be looking at descriptive poems and explanation texts linked to the book Roman Diary The journal of Iliona a young slave.
We will be reading the Romulus and Remus story and then we will be using our descriptive writing to rewrite the ending to the story.
Our descriptive poems will be based on the wolf from the Romulus and Remus story and we will have the opportunity to learn about different types of poetry.
The explanation text will be all about how to build a Roman road and will hopefully give us plenty of opportunity to get creative.
