Summer Term:
We will continue to look at our phonics and learning more sounds, we will be looking at how to use these sounds in our reading and writing. Having lots of practice in writing simple sentences and holding the sentence in our heads.
We will be exploring the story of Funny Bones and The Jolly Postman. We will be exploring the different characters and sequencing the story. We will be learning about different writing features that we can use in our writing. We will have a go at recreating our own Funny Bones story.
Spring Term:
We will continue to look at our phonics and learning more sounds.
We will be exploring the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We will be exploring the different characters and sequencing the story. We will continue to work on our simple sentences.
Autumn Term:
We worked really hard on learning our phonics looking at our sounds.
We looked at The Enormous Crocodile and The Giraffe, Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl. We talked about the characters and created simple sentences using our phonics.
