Holiday and Food Programme
The HAF programme is for school-aged children aged 5-16 years and eligible children will be able to access free activities and a hot meal during the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays.
There will be a variety of clubs across Lincolnshire which provide a range of activities from sports and games, music, drama, music, dance, arts and crafts, cooking, yoga, animal experiences and more. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see promotional clips produced by the Lincolnshire HAF team.
Places on the HAF programme are targeted at children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. For the 2023/23 academic year this means 53 pupils are eligible for places.
This year the local authority has advised that they are funding a 15% surplus, which will mean an additional 8 places for children who would otherwise not be eligible. The school will prioritise the following groups in order for this surplus:
Should demand exceed the number of places available within any of these categories, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis once the school has sent a letter home relating to that terms HAF places.
Changes in the number of pupils eligible for free school meals will impact the number of surplus spaces and we are unable to guarantee pupils will benefit from a surplus place on each occasion.
Christmas 2023 Bookings
The HAF clubs for the Christmas Holidays will run between Thursday 21st December to Tuesday 2nd January.
An online booking system has been put in place ready for the Christmas holidays and eligible families will be able to make bookings from the Wednesday 15th November. An e-voucher will be emailed to each eligible family detailing how to find and book places on a club in your local area.
