Fortuna Primary School is a Nurture SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school, which is in federation with Athena Secondary School. The two schools work together to provide quality provision through a shared nurturing ethos for all pupils. If you wish to join our school, which is pioneering in its approach to providing care, support and education for pupils with SEMH, then we would really like to hear from you.
We are seeking to appoint a creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated teacher to join our committed staff team. We would be excited to receive applications from teachers committed to their own development and progression. Early years’ experience, specifically knowledge and understanding about early child development is desirable, though not essential. The position will initially be in KS2, though this will depend on the successful candidate and their experience.

To work between Fortuna and Athena School to cover part time hours and staff absences.
Salary: Grade 3 Points 6-9 Pro rata 39 working weeks (£19,502 - £20,493 actual salary)
Hours: 32.5 per week, 39 working weeks
Contract Type: TA L1 – 1 year fixed term contract until August 2025

We are looking for creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team. Experience of working with children who display extremely challenging behaviour would be an advantage.
